A murder mystery dinner menu that doesn't need you in the kitchen

The problem with a murder mystery dinner is the dinner. Someone is plating while the first envelope opens. The fix is a menu that is finished before guests arrive, sits happily on the table for two hours, and can be eaten with one hand. Here is one that works for the vineyard setting of Case 01, and a swap for any theme.

The rule

Nothing that needs timing after 7pm. Nothing that needs a knife and fork at the same time as a card. Everything on the table before the toast.

Arrival, ten minutes

Act one, on the table already

The reveal, dessert

Swaps for other settings

The Conductor has run a great many dinners. The ones that went wrong were never the murder.
